In some states (Missouri at least), if you are married then it counts as your kid. Anyway, having a good relationship is fantastic. Most relationships suck though. I haven't gone more than three months without a relationship since I was 17 and I regret a great deal of them other than they were good practice. The annoying questions don't stop though. Once you get a stable long-term relationship then people start bugging you about when you are going to have kids. I'm sure there is some god-awful series of questions on the other side of that fence. Do whatever makes you happy. Families need to be told to fuck off sometimes. |

I was in Missouri for nearly 32 years. Now I'm in Alabama which is even more retarded than Missouri. |

Wow way to go Missouri, I'm not surprised but yeah. That really sounds like a horrible law that only seems to benefit cheating women. I guess that's why the south is so far down on my places to go visit. I can second the whole some relationships suck, sometimes they are three full years of suck where you wonder if you were under some magic spell that made you a fucking moron. Not bitter anymore though, as long as you learn something from a train wreck it's not 100% horrible, just around 98%. I find the annoying questions lessen to just family events, and whatnot, people will ask when you're getting married or whatnot, then once you get engaged they'll ask when the date and ask about planning, next comes the kids questions. I don't think it's really annoying it's just mostly they have nothing else to talk about. |

Well if anyone is looking at dealing with child support after having a cheating wife they just have to tell Child Support Enforcement Division and they get a free paternity test, but you still have to pay child support until it finishes through court. Still stupid, but there are options. EDIT: Just got a Christmas card that was also a birth announcement from a friend I haven't heard from in forever where they couldn't help but ask when I'm having a kid. That's an easy one to deal with, you just explain that you've been going at it like rabbits, but nothing yet, then ask for pointers. No one will ever ask you again. |

Some of my relatives would give pointers and ask again in a few days to see if it worked or not. |
